The Education Review Office reviews schools and early childhood education services every three years on average. The latest review for Crofton Downs Primary School was in 2011 and resulted in a very positive report.

High levels of achievement, students' enthusiastic participation in the curriculum, the challenging and fun learning in the school, our ICT resourcing, and the high expectations for students were all cited.
